PMI Events
The first on our list are the events organized by the Project Management Institute (PMI), the world’s leading professional association for project managers.
PMI is best known for global standards such as the PMBOK® Guide, as well as certifications including PMP® and PMI-SP®. Through research, standards, and professional development, PMI plays a central role in shaping modern project management practices.
Their events are known to help attendees to elevate their skills, and gain knowledge that will help them improve the success on the projects that they are working on.
PMI’s Global Summit is one of the largest project management events worldwide, each year bringing together large number of project management practitioners across various industries. This year the main event is announced to take place in Detroit, USA. Additionally, a virtual PMXPO and a series of regional events also announced to take place across Dubai, Seoul, Cape Town.

IPMA Events
The International Project Management Association (IPMA) is another organization involved with project management, well-known for its competence-based approach to the discipline and its four-level certification system (IPMA Level A–D).

APM Events
The Association for Project Management (APM) is the chartered body for project management in the UK and Europe. It plays a key role in developing professional standards, qualifications, and thought leadership across the UK. The organization is also particularly influential in promoting best practices in governance, assurance, and structured planning.

AACE Events
AACE, the Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering, or now AACE International, is a professional organization relating to project management by providing standards, methodologies, and certifications for related sub-disciplines such as cost engineering, estimating, planning and scheduling, risk management.
The association with its sections host different events throughout the year, with the main one being the annual AACE International Conference & Expo, taking place in Las Vegas, USA this June.
Additionally, the other AACE events take the form of webinars, as well as on-site events organized by the main or the many regional chapters spread out within the USA and internationally throughout the year.
